Króna is a sculptural, hand-forged iron chandelier inspired by the branching forms of nature. Created to complement its surroundings, its organic composition of branches and individually shaped leaves brings warmth, character and atmosphere to a room.

Design language
A crown of branches and candlelight.
Króna takes its name from the Icelandic word for crown, a name with roots in the wider Old Norse language tradition. Its form draws inspiration from the branching silhouettes of nature, bringing them together in a suspended composition with a character of its own.
Branches extend in different directions, carrying individually shaped leaves that give the iron a sense of movement and depth. Candles held in glass cups become part of the composition, their flames illuminating the textures of the metalwork and casting shifting shadows into the surrounding space.
Rather than being produced to fixed dimensions, Króna is conceived in relation to the room it will inhabit. Its proportions and overall expression can be developed around the intended setting, whether suspended above a dining table or positioned as a sculptural focal point.
More than a source of candlelight, Króna is a work of craftsmanship designed to become a lasting part of its surroundings.
Craftsmanship
Króna is built as a three-dimensional composition of hand-forged iron branches and leaves. The arrangement of its individual elements creates a sense of balance and organic movement.
Each leaf is individually shaped, with variations in form and texture that reflect the work of the hammer. The branching structure gives the composition its natural character, while the placement of each element contributes to the overall expression.
The work is developed with its intended surroundings in mind, allowing the proportions and composition to be considered as part of the design process.
As each piece is made by hand, subtle differences in the placement of branches, the shapes of leaves and the overall expression are a natural part of the finished result.
