How Your Piece Is Created

From the first conversation to an individually hand-forged and documented piece of art.

From Your Vision to Its Certificate

Three chapters: from conversation and agreement, through craftsmanship, to the story of the finished piece.

Chapter 01

From Idea to Agreement

Steps 1–4 · A Personal Dialogue

The process begins with a conversation about what you have in mind. Not with a purchase.

  1. 01

    Share Your Vision

Tell us about the type of piece, its intended location, size, function and the aesthetic you have in mind. You can also include photographs of the space or other relevant details.

  2. 02

    Exploring the Possibilities

We discuss your ideas together and clarify the dimensions, appearance, function and practical possibilities.

  3. 03

    A Proposal for Your Piece

Once the details have been established, you receive a proposal outlining the piece, its price, materials and estimated timeframe.

  4. 04

    Acceptance and Commission

Only when you accept a specific quotation does the agreement become binding and your order is created.

Chapter 02

The Piece Takes Shape

Step 5 · Craftsmanship at the Heart

Once we have reached an agreement, your piece is shaped by hand, individually and with the natural variations that come with traditional craftsmanship.

05

Hand-Forged Craftsmanship

Each piece is individually forged. The direction of the branches, the texture of the leaves and the finer details naturally vary from one work to another.

Chapter 03

A Piece with Its Own Story

Steps 6–7 · The Finished Piece and Its Documentation

The finished piece is documented and registered before making its way to you.

  1. 06

    Documentation

The finished piece is photographed, registered and documented as an original work by House of Dalsgaard.

  2. 07

    Delivery

You receive your finished piece. Digital documentation and a certificate of authenticity accompany it once the work has been registered.

Asking is non-binding.

Only when you accept a specific quote does the order become binding.
