Líf
Life · Wall-Mounted Candle Holder
Líf brings the organic forms of nature into the home. A wall-mounted candle holder where individually hand-forged branches and intricately detailed leaves create a living composition around the candlelight.

Design language
Candlelight that brings a room to life.
Líf takes its name from the Old Norse word for life. A name that reflects the piece's artistic language, where the solidity of iron meets the seemingly free movement of nature.
Forged branches extend across the wall in different directions. Leaves of varying sizes create depth and variation, while two candles become a natural part of the composition. When lit, the candlelight reveals the texture of the iron, and the branches cast shifting shadows across the wall.
Líf is conceived as more than a traditional wall-mounted candle holder. It is a decorative wall piece with a character of its own, even when the candles are unlit. A meeting of nature, craftsmanship and light that brings both tranquillity and character to a room.
Craftsmanship
Líf is built around an organic composition of branches and individually shaped leaves. Their visible textures and subtle variations give the iron a character reminiscent of nature's own irregular surfaces.
The branches, leaves and candle holders form a unified composition, where both the overall shape and the smallest details contribute to the finished expression.
As an individually hand-forged piece, subtle variations in form and detail are a natural part of the result. These differences give each work its own individual character.
